> Arthur D. Burger has been added to the faculty of an ALI-ABA webinar set for Wednesday, April 20 at 1:00 pm for an ethics course on ethical issues in multi-client representation in employment matters.

> Arthur D. Burger, Chair of the Firm’s Professional Responsibility Practice Group, is quoted in The National Law Journal for his opinion regarding PLA Piper’s claim of work- product privilege in response to a subpoena from Roger Clemens’ lawyers in a grand jury investigation as to the baseball player’s prior testimony about allegations of steroid use.

> Bob Kelly participated as a panelist in a webinar entitled “Early Case Resolution and Assessment.” The webinar, a part of the LexisNexis Corporate Counsel Series, featured Bob, representing the perspective of outside defense counsel; an insurance claims expert; and two in-house litigation managers for major corporations. The webinar’s content focused on identifying problem cases that might benefit from the early investment of extra resources in order to move them to a cost-effective resolution, while distinguishing those cases from more routine matters that can be handled using traditional litigation management methodologies.
