Newsletter     June 4, 2003      Dear Real Estate and Business Professionals: The District of Columbia City Council, today, by a 7-6 vote, passed legislation introduced by Jack Evans which REPEALS the Master Business License law in its entirety. While the matter is likely to resurface, it appears that the law is back to the way it was before the Master Business License fiasco, i.e. the same law we have had since 1908.
