Michele L. Dearing joined Jackson & Campbell in 2007 and is a member of the Employment Law Practice Group and the Insurance Coverage Practice Group.
Prior to joining the firm, Michele served as law clerk to the Honorable Delores R. Boyd of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama. In addition, Michele has several years' experience as a litigator in West Virginia. She is experienced in civil litigation, including insurance coverage disputes, insurance bad faith matters, employment law, and insurance defense.
Michele graduated from West Virginia University with a B.A. in International Studies and Spanish. She earned her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law, where she served on the University of Miami International Moot Court Board and contributed to the University’s International & Comparative Law Review. She coauthored “Multinational Enterprises and Human Rights,” 8 Miami Int’l & Comp. L. Rev. 183 (1999-2000).
Michele is admitted to practice in West Virginia, the District of Columbia, and Georgia.
