Eileen M. O’Brien is an Associate in the Real Property and Asset Management, General Litigation, and Professional Responsibility Practice Groups at Jackson & Campbell. She focuses her practice on litigation and resolution of title claims, foreclosures, and leases.
Eileen is experienced handling civil litigation matters in both plaintiff and defense postures. She has specialized experience in residential real estate matters, including bankruptcy, commercial contracts, estate litigation and not-for-profit corporations.
Prior to joining J&C, Eileen worked for a civil litigation firm where her practice included a broad range of areas that encompassed tort and professional malpractice, contracts, construction, business and corporate litigation, as well as insurance defense.
Eileen was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. She attended the State University of New York at Buffalo where she earned her J.D. and B.A. in Political Science and Sociology. While in law school, she served as a student attorney at the university’s Federal Criminal Defense Clinic and Domestic Violence Clinic.
Eileen is an active volunteer in the D.C. community, and has offered pro bono services to Whitman Walker Clinic and the Veterans Consortium.
She is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland and New York.
