Allyson Kitchel joined Jackson & Campbell in 2008 as an Associate in the Firm’s Real Property & Asset Management, Employment, Health Law, and General Litigation Practice Groups. She focuses her practice on civil litigation involving employment, medical malpractice, and real estate matters.
Before J&C, Allyson had an active trial practice in Fairfax, Virginia, where she defended civil litigation in state trial and appellate courts, as well as in federal court, involving tort, employment, and insurance matters. She has also advised municipalities and corporate entities on employment matters. Prior to beginning her legal practice, she served as Law Clerk for The Honorable Maurice A. Ross, D.C. Superior Court.
Allyson received her J.D. from George Mason University School of Law, where she was elected to the Moot Court Board. She also earned the Best Brief Award in a writing section and was a Best Brief awardee and Octo-finalist in oral argument in the 2004 Tulane University Moot Court Competition. She received a B.A. in Government from Angelo State University, where she was published in the Texas Journal of Political Studies and served as a Student Representative to the Texas State University System Board of Regents.
Allyson is admitted to practice in Virginia and the District of Columbia.
