Ronald Levin joined Jackson & Campbell, P.C. in 2009 as a member of the Firm’s General Litigation Practice Group. He focuses his practice on commercial and consumer bankruptcy representation, litigation and corporate representation.
Ron has extensive experience representing banks, financial institutions, and public and private lenders and investors located both nationally and regionally. His clients include asset based lenders, commercial and real estate lenders, and master and special servicers for mortgage backed securities, as well as other secured creditors in bankruptcy cases and other insolvency proceedings, bankruptcy litigation, workouts, restructurings, and enforcement proceedings.
He also represents creditors that hold claims in bankruptcy cases, including manufacturers, distributors, real estate holding and
development companies, landlords, equipment lessors, intellectual property and patent licensors, trade creditors, and other creditors. He counsels Official Committees of Unsecured Creditors in bankruptcy cases and protects the interests of unsecured creditors, including litigation and negotiations with the debtor, secured creditors, and other parties. He also serves as general corporate counsel to national and international business concerns.
Before joining J&C, Ron served as Counsel to a litigation firm based in Washington, D.C.
Ron is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, District of Columbia Bar Association, American Bar Association, and
Montgomery County Bar Association. He is also a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, Trial Lawyers Association of
Washington, D.C., American Trial Lawyers Association, and Lender’s Collection Lawyers.
He earned an L.L.M. in Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution from George Washington University Law School. He earned his J.D. from Howard University School of Law and his B.A. from the University of Maryland at College Park.
Ron is fluent in Russian.
