Jackson & Campbell, P.C. has recently completed a 50 state professional liability insurance coverage review that identifies and summarizes case law from all 50 states and the District of Columbia addressing: (1) the standard that each jurisdiction applies to determine whether an act or service constitutes a “professional service;” (2) state and federal case law in which courts have either applied, or refused to apply, professional liability exclusions in various types of insurance policies, including Commercial General Liability Policies; and (3) state and federal case law addressing coverage under various types of Professional Liability Policies.
